Did Tribal Kava in West Palm Beach close?
Tribal Kava left 404 S Military Trail, but the business did not shut down. Tribal Kava Lounge relocated to 770 S Military Trail, Unit A1, further south on the same road. If Tribal is where you meant to go, that is the address. The original standalone building at 404 S Military Trail is now Lowkey Kava — a separate, independent, unaffiliated business, open 7 AM to 2 AM every day.
They're at 770 S Military Trail, Unit A1, West Palm Beach — about four minutes further south down Military Trail. We don't manage their listing, so check their own site or give them a call for current hours. No hard feelings if that's where you're going.
A Little History of This Building
Tribal Kava opened here in 2019 and earned a real place in local history: it was the first standalone kava bar in Palm Beach — a freestanding building dedicated entirely to kava rather than a counter tucked into a strip mall. Regulars loved it for the relaxed atmosphere, the pool table, and the indoor-outdoor flow.
Tribal has since moved up the road. We took over the building because we believed the same thing they did: a kava bar deserves its own roof, its own parking lot, and its own identity.
To be clear, because people do ask: Lowkey Kava is not Tribal Kava. Different owners, different company, no affiliation. We just inherited the address.
What's at 404 S Military Trail Today
- Open 7 AM to 2 AM, every day. Morning kava, late-night kava, and everything in between — 365 days a year.
- Happy hour four times daily. 7–8 AM, 12–1 PM, 5–7 PM, and a 12–1 AM late-night window.
- 28 in-house flavors, free to add to any drink. Kava shells, botanical teas, extract punches.
- Canned kratom drinks to go — Uchie, White Rabbit and NaTea, grab-and-go from the cooler.
- The full lounge. Pool table, gaming systems, big-screen TVs, large outdoor patio.
- Alcohol-free, 18+ to enter. 21+ for kratom. Valid ID required.
- On-site parking. Same dedicated lot, same standalone building.
Which Tribal Kava Are You Looking For?
There is more than one, which is where a lot of the confusion starts:
- Tribal Kava Lounge — 770 S Military Trail, Unit A1, West Palm Beach. This is the one that used to be at 404.
- Tribal Kava South — listed at 7114 S Military Trail, Lake Worth. A separate location further south on the same road.
- 404 S Military Trail — not Tribal at all any more. This is Lowkey Kava, a different company.
We do not manage any Tribal listing, so check theirs directly for hours and to confirm which location is which.
Looking for Tribal's Pool Tournament?
Worth flagging, because it sends people to our door: some event listings still show a Tribal Kava pool tournament at 404 S Military Trail. That address is ours now, so those listings are out of date.
If you want Tribal's night, contact Tribal. If you have already parked outside 404 and want to stay, our own pool tournament runs every Wednesday at 7:30 PM, $10 entry, with a $50 house bar tab for first place. No hard feelings either way.

Plenty of people do both. It's a ten-minute stretch of road with room for more than one kava bar.
