What Happened to Tribal Kava?
Tribal Kava opened in 2019 and earned a real place in local history: it was the first standalone kava bar in Palm Beach — a freestanding building dedicated entirely to kava, not a counter tucked inside a strip mall. Regulars loved it for its relaxed atmosphere, pool table, and indoor-outdoor seating. Tribal Kava has since closed its doors.
To be clear: Lowkey Kava is not Tribal Kava. We are a new, independent business with no connection to the previous owners. We took over the building because we believed the same thing they did — that a kava bar deserves its own roof, its own parking lot, and its own identity.
What You'll Find at 404 S Military Trail Today
- Open 7 AM to 2 AM, every day. Morning kava, late-night kava, and everything in between — 365 days a year.
- Happy hour four times daily. 7–8 AM, 12–1 PM, 5–7 PM, and 12–1 AM evening and 12–1 AM late-night windows.
- 28 in-house flavors. Premium kava, kratom, botanical teas, and extract drinks at affordable prices.
- The full lounge experience. Pool tables, gaming systems, big-screen TVs, and a large outdoor patio.
- Alcohol-free, 18+ to enter. 21+ for kratom drinks. Valid ID required.
- On-site parking. The same dedicated lot in the same standalone building.
