Lowkey Kava is West Palm Beach's newest home for serious kava drinkers and curious first-timers alike. We're one of the only standalone kava bars in West Palm Beach — a real building dedicated entirely to the kava lifestyle, not a fold-up shop in a strip mall or a corner of a coffee bar.

Inside, you'll find a full-size bar, a wall of ten big-screen TVs, a pool table, board games, and gaming systems. Outside, brick patios and lounge seating that turn into a vibe after sunset. We serve premium kava, kratom, botanical teas, and extract drinks at prices that respect your wallet — with happy hour pricing four times every day, including a 5–7 PM evening and 12–1 AM late-night windows.

Where is Lowkey Kava located?
Lowkey Kava is located at 404 S Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33415. We're one of the only standalone kava bar buildings in the area, with a full outdoor patio, brick courtyard, and a lit-up "KAVA BAR" sign you can spot from the street.
What are your hours?
We're open from 7 AM to 2 AM, seven days a week — 365 days a year. Whether you need a morning kava before work or a late-night hang, we're here.
When is happy hour?
Happy hour runs four times every single day: 7–8 AM (morning), 12–1 PM (midday), 5–7 PM (evening), and 12–1 AM (late night). You'll get $6 double-shell bold or smooth kava and $12 / $17 extract punches.
What is kava?
Kava is a traditional South Pacific drink made from the root of the Piper methysticum plant, steeped in water and served in shells. It has been part of Pacific Island culture for thousands of years.
Do you have a pool table, TVs, and games?
Yes — Lowkey Kava has a pool table, board games, gaming systems, and ten big-screen TVs throughout the bar. It's a real lounge built for hanging out for hours, watching the game, or playing a few rounds with friends.
Do you sell kratom?
Yes. We carry premium kratom powder by the gram, kratom extract drink boosts, and our signature extract punches. We also have instant kava powder available by the gram for taking home.
What are the age requirements?
Lowkey Kava is 18+ to enter and to order kava drinks. Kratom drinks are 21+ only. Valid ID is required. Please drink responsibly.
Can I host an event or private party here?

Is there parking on-site?
Yes. As one of the only standalone kava bar buildings in West Palm Beach, we have our own dedicated parking lot on-site at 404 S Military Trail. No fighting for street parking or paying for a garage.
Do you serve alcohol?
No — Lowkey Kava is an alcohol-free bar. We serve kava, kratom, botanical teas, and extract drinks instead — alcohol-free, and without the calories.
Do you have weekly events?
Yes — three nights a week. Wednesday is our Pool Tournament, Thursday is Trivia Night, and Friday is Karaoke Night. The pool tournament is $10 entry at 7:30 PM, with a $50 bar tab from the house for first place; trivia and karaoke are free. 18+ with valid ID. See the full weekly lineup.
How much is a gallon of tea?
$40 for a full gallon, available 7 AM to 12 PM daily as a morning takeout special. That’s 128 oz — roughly five 24 oz cups — in any of our 28 flavors. Is this the old Tribal Kava building?
Yes — our standalone building at 404 S Military Trail was previously home to Tribal Kava, the first standalone kava bar in Palm Beach. What does kava taste like?
Traditional kava has an earthy, slightly bitter, almost peppery flavor — and it'll numb your mouth a little, which is how you know it's the real thing. If you're new, our team can guide you toward a flavored shell or a botanical tea that's easier to start with.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, credit cards, and debit cards — all major cards welcome. There is a 3% surcharge on credit card payments only. Cash and debit have no added fee, so paying cash is the cheapest way to go.
Is it a good first-time kava experience?
Yes. Our staff is happy to walk first-timers through the menu, and recommend a starting drink. We carry single-shell options so you can sample without committing to a full pour — and the lounge atmosphere makes it easy to relax into it.
Do you serve food?
We don’t serve food, but several food trucks are within walking distance of 404 S Military Trail, and you’re welcome to bring food in and eat it at the bar or on the patio. We have free WiFi, ten big-screen TVs, a pool table, and board games, so people post up here for hours.
Is Lowkey Kava dog-friendly?
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on our outdoor patio. Please keep pets leashed and bring water if it's hot out.
What's the dress code?
There's no dress code. We're called Lowkey for a reason — come as you are, in whatever you're comfortable in.

Getting Here

Lowkey Kava sits on the Military Trail corridor, about 10 minutes west of downtown West Palm Beach and Clematis Street. Coming off I-95, take the Southern Boulevard or Forest Hill Boulevard exit and head west to Military Trail; the Okeechobee Boulevard exit connects too. Unlike the downtown bars, we’re a standalone building with our own free parking lot — no garages, no meters, no circling Clematis for a spot.
